date of publication > 03-July-2012

At the fourth and last EUREKA high-level group meeting organised under the Hungarian EUREKA Chair (July 2011-June 2012) on the 21st of June 2012, Turkey officially announced its chairmanship year starting as of 1 July 2012 and informed the EUREKA network of its ambitious work programme and the key priorities for the coming chair year (July 2012 – June 2013).

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBITAK) – which coordinates the Turkish participation in EUREKA and Eurostars projects – envisages creating the adequate environment for international R&D activities and therefore has devised a work programme including the following priorities:

1.   Act Global.
2.   Keep EUREKA as the preferred platform for innovation.
3.   Kick-start new Clusters and strengthen a structured dialogue with the Inter-Cluster Committee.
4.   Cover the entire innovation process by addressing the innovation finance gap.
