EUREKA's XXVI Ministerial Conference endorses the Budapest Document on Eurostars 2.0

On the 22nd of June, the EUREKA Ministers endorsed the Budapest Document and agreed to launch Eurostars 2.0 as Joint Programme in the basis of Article 185 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. This document aims to establish a common vision for the Eurostars 2.0 Programme, which will become the programme of choice for European R&D performing SMEs who want to cooperate in transnational market oriented research and innovation projects.
 
It will strongly support R&D performing SMEs to develop and generate high value products, services and lead to a positive and wider economic impact, contributing tangibly to delivering the Horizon 2020 strategy. Eurostars 2.0 aims to have a wide European and international visibility, critical mass and be a role model in terms of international best practice in relation to efficient programme management at all levels. Proving itself as a high quality Programme it could serve as a model for further potential industry-oriented innovation programmes. You can download online the full Eurostars Budapest document.
