EUREKA Umbrella PRO-FACTORY-PLUS holds Autumn working group Meeting
date of publication > 07-November-2012The Autumn Working Group Meeting for the international delegates of PRO-FACTORY-PLUS (PF+), the EUREKA Umbrella for innovative manufacturing, took place in Aarau, Switzerland from 4-5 October 2012. More than 20 participants from almost all member countries attended the meeting.
The successful first call PF+ call for projects, launched in February 2012, was analysed in detail, and strenghts and weaknesses in its organisation were identified.
The decision has been taken to launch a second PF+ call, which is already under preparation. Five Umbrella member countries will participate in the call by making available dedicated funding to further stimulate the generation of projects in the manufacturing sector. New projects outside this joint call will be fostered through the PF+ online partnering tool and by cooperating with the EUREKA Umbrella EuroAgri Foodchain and the ERA-Net Manunet.
EUREKA Umbrellas are thematic networks focusing on a specific technology area or business sector. Their main goal is to facilitate the generation of EUREKA projects in its own target area.
