EURIPIDES announces its 2013 Spring Call

EURIPIDES, the EUREKA cluster for smart systems and electronic systems integrated in packaging launched its first call for project proposals this year. A first project outline is to be presented by February 26, 2013, while the deadline for the submission of full project proposals by potential participants is the May 16, 2013.

EURIPIDES launches two calls per year in order to facilitate the application process for potential partners in a project, avoiding unnecessary and time consuming efforts to set it up. EURIPIDES grants access to public funding for successful applicants. All forty EUREKA member countries and associated countries can financially support EURIPIDES projects. Partners are funded directly by their respective governments, according to national procedures. The funding rules and eligible consortia can be found on the EURIPIDES website.

The EURIPIDES call addresses the following markets: communication, automotive industry, aeronautics, secure societies, advanced manufacturing, health (medical), agro food, water and green energy. EURIPIDES is with CATRENE, ITEA2, Celtic+ one of the four EUREKA clusters in information and communication technologies (ICT). More than 50 projects have so far received the EUREIPIDES label, with a total value of 400 M€ in R&D efforts.
