date of publication > 25-February-2013

EUREKA, the European Research Cooperation Agency, is a European platform for the collaboration and sharing of ressources by governmental innovation-support agencies. One of EUREKA's  instruments are clusters, industry-led initiatives for the development of strategic market-oriented technologies.

ACQUEAU is the EUREKA Cluster for water technologies. A recent workshop meeting organised by the Cluster allowed the launch of 15 new research projects. Pitches for ACQEAU research projects given by entrepreneurs from all parts of the European continent are available online and some of the projects presented are still looking for partners!

In total, close to a hundred participants took part in the ACQUEAU workshop, which hosted high-class speakers from blue-chip companies BASF, Veolia, Suez and UKWIR and institutional representatives from the Canadian and Turkish Natonal Research Councils, Finnish innovation agency, the German aerospace agency and the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.
