Eurostars funds cutting edge research project in cell culture

Swiss based company Gymetrics and its French manufacturing partner MAATEL were funded by the Eurostars programme for CytOsens, a project aiming at the development of a new kind of disposible bioreactor for cell culture that will  trigger massive benefits for the pharmaceutical industry. The project also received the support of multinational Texas Instruments.

Gymetrics  offers continuous monitoring of cell culture micro-environments. The company is currently developing unique tools, using patent pending technology for cell culture monitoring, starting with pH and t° mini-bioreactors before adding additional parameters and formats. The first products will launch in 2013.
