Two more members join EURIPIDES council

On the 12th of June, EURIPIDES, one of EUREKA’s clusters for R&D in ICTs, has integrated two more members to its council, reaching a total of 15 members. EURIPIDES supports and links together industries; SME’s and research centers that innovate in the field of intelligent and professional electronic systems.
The companies will take part of EURIPIDES’s board by each being responsible for the chairmanship of specific domains. This new internal organization is expected to give EURIPIDES a clearer vision of itself.
Urbotica is a Spanish start-up, innovating in the field of smart urban equipment. It will take over the chairmanship in charge of Smart Cities.
The first Turkish company to join the council, Provus, has launched a new e-payment system already used by 59 professionals. Its innovative capacity has been cherished, as it currently employs 75 researchers and has already proven its dynamism. Provus has been given the chairmanship for mobility.
EURIPIDES’s structural reshuffle preceded this week’s EUREKA general meeting in Ankara and its official replacement by EURIPIDES² , set for the 1st of July.
