EUREKA at BioMarine 2013

date of publication > 23-July-2013

EUREKA invites you to attend the BioMarine International Business Convention being held in Halifax, Canada from September 9th to the 12th. On September 11, 2013, two sessions will be dedicated to the funding and support opportunities offered by EUREKA to companies and research organisations active in the emerging biomarine sector on both sides of the Atlantic. Canada joined EUREKA as an associated country in 2012, which entitles Canadian companies and research organisations to receive funding by participating in EUREKA projects.

CANADIAN COMPANIES ARE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE FUNDING BY PARTICIPATING IN EUREKA PROJECTS.

Head of the EUREKA Secretariat, Mr. Pedro de Sampaio Nunes will be speaking on September 11 starting with the session moderated by John R. McDougall, President of the Canadian National Research Council. The sessions will discuss how EUREKA can help tech companies by giving them access to its network of national innovation agencies and fostering R&D collaboration with organisations working on similar technologies in other countries. The next EUREKA session will then cover tips from EUREKA National Project Coordinators for creating a successful project. In addition to these sessions you can also sign up for a EUREKA one-to-one business meeting to discover specific benefits EUREKA can provide for your company and find European partners to start a EUREKA project.

The event features an impressive line-up of industry representatives, governmental officials, business executives, academics and even a live interview with Prince Albert II of Monaco. More information is available at the BioMarine website.
