The funding of Austrian participants in EUREKA projects generally takes place on a national basis. The most targeted national programme is the General Funding of the FFG – Austrian Research Promotion Agency, which offers a "bonus" (increased value – 5% - of the grant and decreased value of the loan parts of the funding) for all kinds of EUREKA projects. However, many other specific funding programmes can also be used, depending on the technological topic of the project, the type of participant and/or the time of the application. Therefore, we strongly recommend that participants contact the Austrian EUREKA Office in order to select together the most appropriate funding possibilities before applying for funding. The Austrian EUREKA Office will support the applicants with an intensive and detailed proposal check before application.
