During the event, strategic theme sessions will be organised, keynote speakers will share their expertise & vision and R&I results will be shown in a project exhibition. There will also be opportunities to engage in technology roadmap information sharing and collaboration building through pitches, posters and presentations.
This international event focusing on Electronics Components and Systems will concentrate on the following key topics:
- Strategy: Development of a coherent strategy for Research & Innovation in Electronic Components and Systems.
The direction is set, and the implementation of this strategy in the near future will be discussed via pre-brokerage activities and project proposal pitches.
- Collaboration: Future collaborative landscape in Europe.
Projects from several funding schemes will present their work and vision for the future.
Also highlighted will be the importance of collaboration and how innovation can grow when delineations between technologies are gone.
- Vision: Opportunity to showcase trends and inspire with what ‘Our Digital Future’ could look like.
The European Commission will present the Future of Digitisation of Europe (http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-17-687_en.htm) and the current status of implementation.
PENTA, the EUREKA Cluster operating across the electronics value chain, will have an active participation into the event. EUREKA representatives will be present to inform the participants about the latest activities of the Network and to inform about the services and funding opportunities available for the companies/entrepreneurs interested to setup/participate into international projects.
