EUREKA SECRETARIAT – ESE

The ESE, based in Brussels, is an international association acting as the central support unit for the network.

With its strong team of 30 it manages the EUREKA project database and undertakes marketing, communications and network-development activities.

The EUREKA secretariat is also responsible for the implementation of the Eurostars programme. The Eurostars programme is a European Joint Programme dedicated to the R&D performing SMEs, and co-funded by the European Communities and 33 EUREKA member countries.

It is also responsible for the collection and dissemination of information on projects, and, in cooperation with the Chair and the National Offices, promotes the EUREKA philosophy.
