EUREKA CLUSTER > EUROGIA+
Fuelling Europe's Response to the Global Energy Challenge
EUROGIA+ , the energy EUREKA Cluster, proposes a systemic approach to cope with the challenges that we face today:
- satisfy the energy demand and its continuous growth,
- fight against climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- prepare the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies while continuing the energy chain decarbonisation, and migrating towards a hydrogen economy.
The
EUROGIA+ label-obtained in June 2008 for 5 years, is supported by 15 countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Monaco, Poland, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey.
