The event integrates nanotechnology, materials and production (NMP) to show how innovative industrial technologies can boost competitiveness and growth by 2020. It is the largest event hosted under Danish Presidency of the European Council and supported by the European Commission DG Research & Innovation.
With an audience expected to include 1200 members of Europe’s industrial technologies community, the event will highlight:
• Innovative products & processes for growth and competitiveness by 2020
• Solutions to improve the environment for innovation in Europe
The event consists of a congress with 4 plenaries, 18 sessions and 16 workshops, an exhibition, a poster session, Award Gala where the best project and best poster 2012 are nominated, a matchmaking day and site visits programme.
Over 70 high profile international speakers from industry, government and research will discuss visions for European research and industry in 2020, how Europe can succeed in the face of global competition, and the form and impact of Horizon 2020.
They will reveal the economic and technological impact of industrial technologies, with topics including low emission transportation, integrated systems, improving the environment, energy generation and storage, healthcare and construction.
