> Second-round financing options are crucial for businesses looking to get their products and services to the market. EUREKA knows there is often a gap between the R&D and the go-to-market phase, and private financing is often the answer.
> Finding new sources of financing for innovative R&D projects is a top priority for EUREKA. The E!nnoVest initiative is designed to expand the access of EUREKA portfolio companies and others to complimentary financing beyond that provided by the existing support schemes of governments. The E!nnoVest initiative helps match companies with private investors through special events and a new search and match web engine, assisting in matchmaking by facilitating the exposure of companies to potential investors.
> The first EUREKA investors shop, took place on June 1, 2011 at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, Israel. This event is now followed by an Investor Readiness and Investment Forum taking place on December 7, 2011, at EUREKA's offices in Brussels and co-organised by EBAN, the European trade association for Business Angels, Seed Funds, and other Early Stage Market Players.
