Snack version of the 'corinette'

Launch of an innovative 'meal solution' which combines long-shaped madeleines and a flavoured cream.

COLIBRI PATISSERIES is a cake and pastry manufacturer (e.g. Madeleines, Madeira cakes and brownies). In a very competitive market, the company has to develop new products to meet customer demands. 'By observing how people live, one can better address their needs'. COLIBRI has always been able to detect changes in consumer behaviour and quickly respond to them. That's why the individually packed range is adapted to a new lifestyle. Wherever you go, they stay nice and fresh to the very last piece. This new project aims to launch an innovative product adapting one of its most popular Madeleines (the long-shaped 'Corinette') to new consumer trends: the increased demand for 'nomad' products. This product consists of one single pack with two separate sealed servings of four 'Corinettes' and flavoured cream (chocolate, vanilla, etc.). Technological gaps concern: - formulation and stabilisation of the 'fruit cream', - development of the dual-packaging (compliance between cake and cream regarding bacteriological behaviour). Keywords: pastry, cakes, packaging.
