Explore the regional dimension of EUREKA

Regional innovation policy is considered as one of the drivers for growth and welfare in Europe. Regional Policy can unlock the growth potential of the EU by promoting innovation in all regions, while ensuring complementarities between EU, national and regional support for RTD and innovation.

EUREKA can strengthen connections among different actors inside a region, facilitate cross-border projects aiming to respond specific regional technological challenges, and improve innovation and technological capabilities of European regions.

Other objectives of EUREKA for the coming year include the mapping the regional activities of EUREKA offices throughout 39 European Countries, identifying new financial resources for EUREKA projects and companies in the go-to-market phase and strengthening structured dialogue with key actors in Europe on regional innovation.
