CATRENE-ENIAC event highlights benefits of increased funding for nanoelectronics R&D
date of publication > 19-November-2009
The November European Nanoelectronics Forum, organised jointly in the Netherlands by the EUREKA nanoelectronics-Cluster CATRENE and the ENIAC Joint Undertaking (JU), attracted more than 200 key players from industry, academia and public authorities. The success of these two public private programmes is proven by the increase in funding for collaborative research on micro- and nanoelectronics in Europe. Such an increase is driving industrial competitiveness; a positive response to the current crisis that has hit the electronics sector particularly hard.
