ITEA 3 receives EUREKA label
date of publication > 02-July-2012On 20 June, the EUREKA High Level Group (HLG) approved the continuation until 2022 of ITEA -Information and Technology for European Advancement-, the EUREKA Cluster for the software sector.
Rebranded as ITEA 3, it will be an organisation with a living road map and the intention to shorten dramatically the period from idea to project start to 10 months. It will also take a more open approach to research and exploit its strong relationships with other entitites, such as ARTEMIS, EUREKA Clusters, EIT ICT Labs and national competitiveness clusters.
ITEA Chairman Rudolf Haggenmueller commented: 'ITEA 3 will enable us to ensure that European Industry continues to be at the leading edge worldwide'.
