EUREKA Venture Forum: promoting EUREKA companies to international venture capital!

The EUREKAVenture Forum (EuVF), taking place in Istanbul on October 18-19,2012, is hosted under the auspices of the Turkish EUREKA Chairmanship following its priority of covering the entire innovation process and addressing the innovation finance gap. It aims at promoting companies from the EUREKA Platform towards an audience of international venture investors.  
 
The EuVF will be an Investment Forum showcasing the most promising European high-tech entrepreneurs to an audience of top-tier international venture capital, corporate investors and strategic partners. Around 40 companies, mainly from the EUREKAPlatform and internationally will be selected to participate to the Forum, and at least 30-40 international will be present.
 
The EUREKA Venture Forum entails the following:
 
•        Discussion sessions on investment trends and market opportunities
•        Presentations of companies to investors
•        One2One meetings between entrepreneurs and investors
•        Emphasis on innovative technologies in ICT, CleanTech and Life Sciences
 
The EuVF will be promoted as a European Venture Contest Semi-Final, meaning that the top quartile (best 25%) companies will be selected for the yearly European Venture Summit which will take place in on 6-7 December 2012 in Berlin.
