Agency for International Science and Technology Development Programmes
 

The Agency for International Science and Technology Development Programmes (Agency) was established by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in 1999 as „Eureka“ information center for the purpose of administration and coordination of national participation in EUREKA programme. In 2002, due to new delegated activities, the center was reorganized into the Agency.
The main objective of the Agency is to strengthen, enhance and facilitate successful Lithuanian participation in international R&D programmes.

Lithuania is a member of EUREKA since 1999.

Agency provides:

  • all relevant information about EUREKA by e-mail, phone, during the meetings, in the web site and mass media;
  • consultations and assistance, how to write a successful proposal, how to find project partners, how to manage a project;
  • funding for universities, research institutions and state budgetary institutions.


The national project evaluation procedure lasts between 2-3 months.
