EUREKA MEMBER > Slovenia

Slovenia joined the EUREKA initiative in 1994 and has been represented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology since 2005.

The Slovenian office offers information on funding schemes for EUREKA, explains application rules and has an open-door policy, therefore every potential participant in a EUREKA project is welcome to come and obtain advice.

We have 3 cut-off dates for 2009: 2 February, 4 May, 7 September. Applications must arrive at the Ministry by 12:00. An evaluation procedure is then carried out internally and results communicated within 2-3 months. The budget for 2009 is €1.5 million which corresponds to approximately 20 endorsed projects per year.
