EUREKA MEMBER > The Netherlands

The Netherlands are a founding member of EUREKA and have actively participated in the initiative since 1985. Since then, the Dutch project portfolio has grown to more than 700 projects, of which about 100 are still running. This makes The Netherlands one of the biggest participants in EUREKA. The Dutch EUREKA office has a team of almost 20 people ready to help you set up your project and to assist you in applying for national funding.

 

The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has made a grant scheme available to Dutch participants in EUREKA projects. The scheme, called Internationaal Innoveren, or International Innovation, has two calls per year, closing at the end of June and December respectively. All submitted applications are evaluated by an external committee based on the following criteria: innovation, economic return for The Netherlands and the quality of the co-operation. The application must be submitted by a Dutch company.
