The Investment Readiness programme is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
Aigües de Barcelona is a public-private company managing the entire water cycle, from collection to purification, transportation, and distribution, as well as the sanitation and treatment of wastewater for its return to the natural environment or reuse. It thus serves nearly 3 million people in the municipalities of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.
Aigües de Barcelona is searching for solutions to promote the valorization of by-products, generated during the water cycle management, for their use in agriculture (i.e. nutrients, sludge, biochar, regenerated water).
Other water cycle by-products that can be used in the food, packaging and chemical industries are also welcome.
Apply to their challenge by October 17 for a chance to discuss collaboration with them.
The session is ideal for companies providing innovative and testable solutions at TRL 8–9.
Corporate Challenge information
Theme: Valorisation of by-products generated during water cycle management for their use in agriculture (e.g. nutrients, sludge, biochar, regenerated water) as well as the chemistry industry, food production, etc.
