A Participant Identification Code (PIC) is a mandatory 9-digit ID issued by the European Commission. It is a requirement for all organisations wishing to submit a Eurostars application.

To check whether your organisation already has a PIC number, you can search for it in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal under “Find a registered organisation”, by inserting the organisation’s name or VAT number. If your organisation does not have a PIC number, you must register one through the same portal.
