Metallurgy Europe aims at generating wealth, growth and well-being in Europe, by securing global leadership in industrial metallurgy and advanced manufacturing across a broad range of market sectors.

It integrates industrial metallic materials, advanced manufacturing, end-user OEM engineering and academic research across Europe, thus catalysing a community effort to make breakthrough metal products;

Metallurgy Europe  goals are  to lay the technical foundation for the design and discovery of next-generation alloys, intermetallics, compounds and composites that can be processed into higher-performance metallic components for industrial end-users.

Achieving the Cluster’s objectives will be through:

  • Managing intellectual property through a clear, unambiguous and manageable regulation of intellectual property rights (IPR).
  • Allowing for a very flexible project scheme, where the scope and the consortium composition can be tailored.
  • Inspire cross-collaboration across many sectors of industry

Strategically nurture the pipeline of young talents and help convert them into innovative, highly-qualified, private-sector researchers.
