Funding information
Canadian funding body, National Research Council of Canada (NRC), funds R&D costs for SMEs participating in our Network projects programme.
NRC covers up to 50% of project costs for SMEs.
The maximum funding amount is 500,000 Canadian dollars per participant per project.
The funding is non-repayable contribution against approved work completed and invoiced.
Canada currently has no allocated budget for large companies participating in our Network projects programme. If you are a Canadian large company wanting to participate in a Network projects consortium, contact the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to see whether there are other funding opportunities available or talk to them about self-funding.
