Czech Republic has been a member of the EUREKA network since 1995. The responsibility of the EUREKA activities for Czech Republic has been committed to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Czech Chaimanship was held in the year 2005/2006.
MEYS started national procedure in 1995 and all the time arranged EUREKA public promotion. In the reason Czech participants in EUREKA projects have opportunities to be co-funded by MEYS (not funding Agency) has been created national EUREKA and EUROSTARS scheme. The National advisory body - Czech EUREKA/EUROSTARS Board is involved and helps there as well.
