Green goals

Danish research and innovation must contribute to solving challenges that help to achieve Danish government green goals. For the next Eurostars deadline (FEB 2021), IFD are funding projects that develop green technologies and solutions needed for Denmark’s sustainable future: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting the environment and nature and creating a green business adventure.

Projects aligned with Danish green goals cover energy production and efficiency, agriculture and food production, transport, the environment and the circular economy, nature and biodiversity, sustainable behaviour and the social consequences of climate change. IFD will support Danish participants in projects that make a significant contribution to the green transition and clarify these expectations in their application.

To note

When you fill in your Eurostars application form, you must select “agrofood technology, agriculture & marine resources, energy technology and technologies protecting the environment” OR “biological science/ technologies and medical/ health” in the “primary technology name” section to indicate that your project is focused on national green goals or health and biotech.

Participants in green transition projects that involve other technology fields must argue (both in their Eurostars application form and at national level) that the main focus is on reducing CO2 imprint, developing more environmentally friendly materials, energy reduction via smart transport, smart mobility or smart manufacturing, etc.
