Latvia became a EUREKA candidate country and a corresponding National Information Point (NIP) began to operate in 1992 – a year after independence was restored. Latvia has been a full member of EUREKA since June 2000.
The Latvian EUREKA office provides the following services: dissemination of information about EUREKA and Eurostars programs as well as assistance to project applicants for setting up new project ideas, finding contacts/partners, rules and regulations, project evaluations, etc.
