Eurostars is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.

Latvian funding body, the Latvian Council of Science (LZP), funds R&D costs for SMEs participating in our Eurostars programme.  

The LZP covers up to 80% of all eligible project costs in grants per SME. 

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 100,000 euro per participant per year.

Funding is regulated by Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty and The Republic of Latvia Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No 259 of Granting Aid for Participation in International Cooperation Programmes in the Field of Research and Technologies, issued 26 May 2015.

The LZP covers up to 50% of all eligible project costs in grants per large company. 

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 100,000 euro per participant per year.

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 100,000 euro per participant per year.
