About this country
Montenegro became in June 2012 the 41st member of EUREKA: an extraordinary step for Montenegrin science opening new possibilities for the development of the economy of Montenegro.
The management of EUREKA activities in Montenegro has been assigned to the Montenegrin Ministry of Science.
The National EUREKA Office can help you to find a partner for your EUREKA project, with emphasis on SMEs, and technical and administrative support for participation in EUREKA initiative.
The Ministry of Science implements a demanding program of activities related to the implementation of national and international scientific and research programmes, in order to better position the Montenegrin research community in the European Research Area.
The main strategic priorities of the Ministry of Science are:
- linking science and business
- development of R&D system
- bilateral and multilateral cooperation
