Romania currently has no allocated budget for SMEs participating in our Eurostars programme before the next deadline (DEC 2020). If you are a Romanian SME wanting to participate in a Eurostars consortium, contact the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) to see whether there are other funding opportunities available or talk to them about self-funding. 

For future Eurostars deadlines, Romania funds R&D costs for SMEs participating in our Eurostars programme.  

UEFISCDI covers up to 70% of project costs in grants for small companies and up to 60% of project costs in grants for medium-sized companies.  

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 150,000 euro per project per year.

If you are a Romanian large company wanting to participate in a Eurostars consortium, contact the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) to see whether there are other funding opportunities available or talk to them about self-funding.

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 150,000 euro per project per year.

If you are a Romanian organisation wanting to participate in a Eurostars consortium, contact the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) to see whether there are other funding opportunities available or talk to them about self-funding. 

For future Eurostars deadlines, Romania funds R&D costs for universities and research organisations participating in our Eurostars programme. 

As a Romanian university or research organisation, you could receive a grant covering 100% of your project costs. 

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 150,000 euro per project per year. 

Universities and research organisations must have a Romanian company in your consortium to be eligible to receive funding.
