Eurostars funding information in South Korea
South Korean funding body, the Korea Institute of Advancement of Technology (KIAT), funds R&D costs for SMEs participating in our Eurostars programme.
KIAT covers up to 67% of project costs in grants for small companies and up to 50% of project costs in grants for medium-sized companies.
The maximum funding amount is a grant of 1.5 billion South Korean Won (approx. 1.1 million Euro) per project.

KIAT covers up to 33% of project costs in grants for large companies.
The maximum funding amount is a grant of 1.5 billion South Korean Won (approx. 1.1 million Euro) per project.

KIAT covers up to 100% of project costs in grants for universities or research organisations.

Universities and research organisations must have a South Korean SME in your consortium to be eligible to receive funding.
