The EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars funding information for Sweden

Sweden currently has no allocated budget for organisations participating in the next EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars call for projects (deadline spring 2023). If you are a Swedish organisation wanting to participate in a EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars consortium, contact your national funding body to see whether there are other funding opportunities available or talk to them about self-funding.

Budget will be available for the EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars call for projects deadline in autumn 2023.

Swedish funding body, Vinnova (Sweden’s Innovation Agency), funds R&D costs for SMEs participating in our EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars programme.  

Vinnova covers up to 50% of project costs for SMEs.  

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 5 million Swedish krona per project. 

Swedish funding body, Vinnova (Sweden’s Innovation Agency), funds R&D costs for large companies participating in our EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars programme.  

Vinnova covers up to 30% of project costs for large companies.  

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 2 million Swedish krona per project OR a grant of 5 milllion Swedish krona per project if there is a Swedish SME in your consortium.  

Swedish funding body, Vinnova (Sweden's Innovation Agency) funds R&D costs for universities and research organisations participating in our EU Partnership on Innovative SMEs / Eurostars programme.  

Vinnova covers up to 70% of project costs for universities or research organisations. 

The maximum funding amount is a grant of 2 million Swedish krona per project OR a grant of 5 milllion Swedish krona per project if there is a Swedish SME in your consortium.
