For the first time, Eureka is embarking on a mission to South Summit in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Eureka and its network are sponsoring 27 innovative startups and small- and medium-sized enterprises from 12 countries to attend from 25-27 March 2026.
South Summit is a hub for technology and innovation networking; each year, over 20,000 professionals amass with the goal of forging partnerships and attracting investment. With Eureka’s support, in 2026, 30 company representatives can build new connections at this gateway to South America and beyond.
Eureka President, Marc Pauchard, and Eureka Network Director General, Brit Helle, will take to the stage in a panel discussion, titled “40 years of breakthrough innovation through global cooperation”, highlighting Eureka’s versatile funding programmes and the positive impact its projects have on society, technological progress and the organisations involved. They will be joined by representatives from the Brazilian agencies behind international research, development and innovation funding.
Attendees can also visit the Eureka stand (30), where experts will be on hand to answer questions about which programme best aligns with an organisation’s goals. The 30 companies will be featured in nearby stands, giving them a platform to promote their solutions and speak to potential investors.
Eureka is offering this opportunity as part of its Investment Readiness programme within the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs, which is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe. The investment readiness programme supports companies in forming international connections with investors and corporate partners.

South Summit is an annual technology and business event that welcomes over 20,000 attendees each year in the form of entrepreneurs and investors. The event features a pitching competition, keynote speeches, panel discussions and an exhibition space.
