The mtt-cap project comprises the research and development of a combined auxiliary power unit (apu) and parking heater for trucks, which leads to savings in terms of fuel, noise and exhaust gas emissions (co2, nox, soot) and engine wear.
We aim at a production of 150 tons of algae per year per ha and an energy balance of 4 times as much useful algae energy output as fossil energy input to make the process running. this project focuses on optimistion of the chain of cultivating, harvesting and valorising algae biomass.

Wetren aims to research, develop and validate the waste energy driven air conditioning system (wedacs)-technology. This add-on technology for gasoline engines reduces co2 emissions and fuel consumption up to 15% by eliminating the conventional alternator and offering air conditioning support.
The overall objective of the project is to design a low cost textured substrate with integrated light extraction. With these substrates energy efficient oled lighting and backlighting panels will be demonstrated, without affecting the lifetime of the oled.
