To develop high power (over 250 kw) high temperature (up to 80 celsius) heat pump for industrial exploitation of low temperature (up to 40 celsius) geothermal sources.
Two partner companies will jointly develop a highly capable/smart electronic metering system for use in households able to gather data from other energy meters (heat, water, etc.) And wireless communication to customer displays (showing current use of energy, co2 emission, etc.).
In the proposed project the production line for an energy efficient evaporator will be developed and tested. The new type of evaporator which will be manufactured on this line will be 25% cheaper and more energy efficient. It will use 20% less energy to produce the same results as existing ones.
The project is aiming at developing environment prompt, easy to access and transparent to use energy efficiency monitoring system used for energy consumption and efficiency monitoring.
The project deals with optimisation of forming processes for sheet metal part production. Decrease of used energy and minimisation of environmental burdening are main objectives achieved by process design, material optimisation, increased adaptability of the tooling, and tribological conditions.
With this project we will develop a geothermal gravity heat pipe for the exploitation of geothermal energy from unproductive wells 3,000 meters deep and at a temperature of 155 degrees celsius.
