PEEK based spinal implants with improved osteoconductivity and decreased infection risks
We are suggesting to utilise the fruit of autumn olive, which is widely farmed in korea, for the production of natural lycopene. Supercritical co2 extraction, microencapsulation of lycopene, and the development of lycopene formulations for various products will be studied.
In this project, the flame retardancy properties of a special class of clays, namely sepiolite from turkish and spanish resources will be enhanced by using certain phosphorus modifications. Phosphorus compounds are used as flame retardant materials and they will be incorporated into sepiolite.
