Tracker light-line system

The main purpose of the project is development of an advanced light-line system, which may completely adapt to optional architecture and space functional needs as well as dynamically changes the light spectrum by having a positive impact on the well-being and activity of people in a space.

The main purpose of the project is development of an advanced light-line system called TRACKER, which may completely adapt to optional architecture and space functional needs as well as dynamically changes the light spectrum by having a positive impact on the well-being and activity of people in a space. This is a set of constructive, technological and design solutions, exceeding the limitations of the existing light systems. These are expressed especially in the field of the assembly capabilities, ambient occurrence with communication and light functionality. Such lighting solutions are the most wanted type of lighting for larger spaces, such as halls, hotel lobbies, galleries, theatres, operas, cinemas, metros, railway stations, air terminals, and also various entrance halls of sports facilities and transport intersection points. The challenge of modern architecture is to create a likable environment tailored to the users’ needs and to guide, inform them about the space in a subtle way, as well as offer to the them a stimulating environment for a specific activity. This trend is gradually changing the classical angular form of facilities in softer, fluid lines, since they mainly form lines out of rigid straight modules connected with the corner elements, which are not able to follow the form of modern architecture. In development of the TRACKER light system »rethink light« was needed. Thanks’ to innovative spine-like product base structure is becoming able to achieve curving light line. The innovations is also hidden the housing of a luminaire itself. The product is skin made of special textile allowing flexibility in form and IP product protection against outside influences. The TRACKER will enable installation as recessed, surface-mounted and mounted installation. As regards its operation, the TRACKER light system is the upgrading of the existing engineering excellency of the state-of-the-art LED luminaires in the market, where lighting comfort and savings will be achieved with correct illumination, in conformity with the latest standards of the European institutions in the field of energy-efficient management. This represents a significant contribution in the field of the light impact on the human health and well-being. The expert of TRACKER light system contains a selection of LED sources with a light spectrum, suitable for biological activation of a human body. The right light stimulates hormones cycles in our body, which regulate biorhythms or our digestion, activity and rest… This may, for example, increase our productivity, contribute to positive working atmosphere or have a calming role in stressful situations. The project also comprises the development of software called HTML CONFIGURATOR, serving as a support in planning of the light system. It will provide for fast, simple and precise selection of light components in accordance with the given architecture solutions and space design. The tool will prevent defects occurrence in illumination projection and provide for additional advantages up to the final installation of luminaires. The last project phase foresees Building information Modeling (BIM) of all the modules of the TRACKER light system. BIM is an intelligent 3d model-based process that equips architecture, engineering, and construction professionals with the insights and tools to plan, design, construct, and manage building infrastructure more efficiently. Intra lighting d.o.o. from Slovenia, a specialist in the field of architectural lighting, and Lika svjetlo d.o.o. from Croatia, highly qualified in the field of diffuse and optical materials in lighting, will take part in the project.
