Third generation fast moving robots used for public safety
applications such as national disasters and anti-terrorism

The proposed systems comprise two types of robot: - a fast-moving robot (AMR 1) for inspection and intervention in the area surrounding the site of the accident, capable of moving loads (tools, specialised systems); - a robot (AMR 2) for inspection and intervention at the actual site of the incident, capable of moving around buildings (stairs, slopes and various unforeseen obstacles). The two robots may be used separately or in conjunction.
