This process consists of the hardening of initially
unconsolidated materials from chemical and physio-chemical
reactions resulting from diagenesis and lateritisation

This process consists in the hardening of initially unconsolidated materials from chemical and physico-chemical reactions resulting from diagenesis and lateritisation phenomena. These reactions resort to natural materials more or less concentrated in CaO with mineral or organic additives in particular conditions of use. As the manufacturing of the steadying product does not require important technological means, it enables treatment on the spot and all along the progress of work sites of most nearby materials. Among other things, it will enable the application of this process to main laterite areas to be considered. Being economic in use, it will make it possible not only to solve on a long-term basis the technical problems linked with the building and maintenance of the road system of developing countries in particular, but also that of some industrialised countries for light traffic roads or some road foundations.
