A cognitive intelligent system for operating control

A cognitive intelligent system will be developed. The system can be used to represent the state of complex multiparameter technological, economical or other complex objects in terms of special dynamic cognitive images.

In the proposed project a cognitive graphics system will be developed for representation of the state of multi-parameter complex objects under operating control in terms of special dynamic cognitive images. A cognitive image is a graphic dynamic behaviour simulation of a multi-parameter object under operating control. The project will comprise of the following stages: a) The user analysis and interface design in which the potential user needs will be analysed and defined b) Software requirements definition c) Development of system d) Testing and improvement of system e) Preparation of technical and user documentation f) Promotion and marketing of the product. The focus will be on user analysis and definition of user needs. The actual trends in IT technologies (XML, Internet, .NET) will be followed and used in developing the product. Historically, a breakdown takes place at the interface between the technologist and the user. Users are concerned with meeting their needs and expectations. Developers are concerned with functionality. A product that works but is not used has no market relevance. User analysis and its subsequent documentation allows users to express their expectations, designers to transform those expectations into a visual model, and developers to follow the documentation of that visual model to create a functional, usable product.
