New preparation for increasing the vitality of plants and saving on fertilizers

To develop a suitable liquid mixture that should help reduce the need for artificial fertilizers and make the plant use more nutrients from the soil.

The aim of the project is to develop in our company a suitable liquid mixture that should help reduce the need for artificial fertilizers and make the plant use more nutrients from soil. Until now, the yields of crops have been increased mainly by using enormous amounts of artificial fertilizers. The new agent will reduce the need for artificial fertilizers and therefore also the costs of agricultural production. Several versions and types of the mixture will be gradually developed and tested by co-investigators from abroad at their locations. The co-investigators will perform foliar application by spraying on individual selected types of agricultural crops in picked fields. They will evaluate their vitality, growth, yield and fertilizer consumption. The project co-investigators will regularly inform about the state and situation of plant development and provide information leading to the final solution of the VITALON 21 project. The references obtained about co-investigators from abroad guarantee the quality of the tests performed, and the Czech investigator will therefore have a chance to develop the final formula for a mixture suitable for use in agricultural production. The solution will develop in the following stages: Stage 1 - Collection of theoretical data and specification of the requirements for raw materials; - Selection of test fields and crops at co-investigator premises; - Analysis of risks and specification of the requirements for the method of plant treatment. Stage 2 - Selection of suitable materials; - Development of formulas in several versions; - Preparation of mixture samples. Stage 3 - Delivery of finished mixtures for spraying. Stage 4 - Spraying of selected crops. Stage 5 - Monitoring vitality and growth; - Evaluation of the course of crop growth and assessing the yield; - Evaluation of fertilizer consumption. Stage 6 - Final evaluations according to the type of mixture used. Stage 7 - Evaluation of the suitable formula based on the evaluations received; - Determining the final form of the new formula for use. The project solution will be based on the currently used technological equipment for which the following will have to be gradually secured: - Drawing up and verification of model formulas; - Analysis of the suitability of test instruments and PCs (Personal Computers) used in the company’s laboratory; - Evaluation of the suitability of the technology for the production of the VITALON 21 mixture; - Development of the Technological Regulations specifying the formula, technological equipment, staff numbers, and the input, in-process, and output quality control; - Processing of the technological model procedure in the production of agricultural crops using the VITALON 21 mixture.
